I'm an O.C.D. (Obsessive compulsive doodler), inmate of the Hylin asylum. Along with Doug, my ex-surfer turned snowboarder husband, Chewie and Solo the two dogs of destruction, (with tails of death and paws of doom), and Zayla the feline lap commando/computer assistant, I clutter a too small house in the Sierra Nevada mountains with dragons, gargoyles, vampires, werewolves and a youkai or two. The nekomata, or goblin-cat, is a sorcerous, vampiric, shapeshifting, two-tailed demon feline from Japanese folktales.  A nekomata must be appeased by attention, food, and respect, and since artists crave attention too, I can identify.
